Viewing Your Schedule

There are two ways to see your service schedule in Ministry Steward.

Your Overview page also includes a short upcoming assignments card. Each row shows the event name, date and time, ministry, and status so you can quickly check your next service.

My Events

The My Events page shows your personal service schedule. Navigate to it from the left sidebar under "My Volunteering."

At the top of the page, the Next Assignment card highlights the next event where you are scheduled to serve. It shows the event name, date and start time, ministry, position when one is assigned, and location when available.

Below that, the Upcoming Assignments and Past Events sections separate future service from previous events. Each section has its own ministry filter so you can narrow upcoming and past assignments separately. Past Events starts collapsed so your current schedule stays easier to scan.

Each assignment row shows:

• Event Name — the name of the service or activity.
• Date and Start Time — when the event begins.
• Ministry — which ministry you're serving in. Some rows may show more than one ministry when you are assigned to multiple roles for the same event. Some assignments may also show a position, such as "Cross" or "First Reading."
• Availability Conflict — a warning appears if the assignment falls on a day you marked unavailable.

This is the quickest way to see what's coming up.

If you cannot serve an upcoming event, use Withdraw on the assignment row. When a row includes multiple ministries for the same event, withdrawing removes you from those assignments for that event. Past assignments are shown for reference and cannot be withdrawn from.

Assignment emails and reminder messages also include your position when one has been assigned. If no position is set, the message only shows the ministry name.

Calendar

The Schedules page shows an interactive calendar with all events. Your assignments are highlighted so you can see them in context with other events.

The calendar adapts to your screen:

• Desktop — month view.
• Tablet — week view.
• Mobile — day view.

Use the navigation arrows to move between periods, or click Today to jump to the current date. You can also switch between month, week, and day views using the view selector.

Click on any event to see its full details, including all volunteer assignments.

Tips

• Check your schedule regularly — administrators may update assignments as availability changes.
• If you see an assignment you can't make, set your availability or withdraw from the event.
