3. SMS / Text Messaging

If you provide your mobile phone number and enable SMS notifications in your profile settings, Ministry Steward may send you text messages regarding your volunteer assignments and event reminders.

Opt-in: SMS messaging is opt-in only. You must enter your phone number and enable SMS in your profile settings to receive text messages.
Opt-out: Reply STOP to any SMS to unsubscribe immediately, or disable SMS notifications in your profile settings at any time.

Message frequency varies based on your scheduled volunteer assignments. Message and data rates may apply.

Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.

All categories of data described in this Privacy Policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of that campaign. We may share your Personal Data, including your SMS opt-in or consent status, with third parties that help us provide our messaging services, including but not limited to platform providers, phone companies, and any other vendors who assist us in the delivery of text messages.

Your organization's administrators — church or ministry staff who manage the account you belong to, as necessary to coordinate volunteers.
Service providers — third-party vendors who help us operate the platform (e.g., cloud hosting, email delivery, SMS delivery). These providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for any purpose other than providing services to us.
