By accessing or using Ministry Steward ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Ministry Steward is a volunteer management platform designed for churches and ministry organizations. The Service allows organizations to schedule volunteers, send notifications, and coordinate ministry activities.

3. Accounts and Organizations

Organizations that subscribe to Ministry Steward are responsible for all activity that occurs under their account, including the actions of their administrators and volunteers. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

4. SMS Messaging Terms

Ministry Steward may send SMS text messages to volunteers who have opted in to receive them. By enabling SMS notifications in your profile settings, you agree to receive transactional text messages related to your volunteer schedule.

  • SMS notifications are strictly transactional — limited to event reminders and volunteer assignment confirmations.
  • Message frequency varies based on your scheduled assignments.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • To opt out, reply STOP to any message or disable SMS in your profile settings.
  • To get help, reply HELP to any message or contact info@ministrysteward.com.
  • Supported carriers include all major US carriers. Carrier availability is not guaranteed.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

6. Subscription and Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms of Service by reference.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Ministry Steward LLC. and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Ministry Steward LLC. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
