Volunteer Check-In and New Planning Reports

Record who served, offer a self-service check-in kiosk, and explore staffing gaps and volunteer workload.

Ministry Steward now helps you follow a service from the planned roster through to attendance. New check-in tools and reports give church leaders a clearer view of who served and where future schedules need attention.

What's New

Record attendance where you manage the service

Owners, administrators, and ministry leads can record attendance from event details. Mark scheduled volunteers as present, absent, or excused, and keep track of walk-in helpers who are already part of your volunteer team.

Set up a volunteer check-in station

An owner or administrator can start a dedicated kiosk on a church device. Volunteers select their name and verify their email address or phone number to check in. The device stays focused on check-in, with the administrator's normal management session signed out on that browser.

Look beyond the roster

Coverage Gaps shows where required volunteer spaces remain open. Volunteer Load helps you compare assignments across the team, while an event-preference report shows which services volunteers prefer or cannot attend. Charts, filters, and spreadsheet exports help leaders turn that information into planning decisions.

Attendance and these reports are available on Base and Premium. Owners and administrators can start a kiosk from Tools > Attendance Kiosk and open the new reports from Reports. Read about attendance and check-in or explore the Reports guide.
