Premium subscribers can now schedule specific positions within a ministry. Instead of seeing only that they are serving in a ministry, volunteers can see the particular role they have been assigned.
What's New
Name the roles your church uses
Add positions such as First Reading, Second Reading, Cross, or Candle to a ministry. When setting up an event, choose how many volunteers you need in each position so the schedule reflects how that service runs.
Assign positions as you prepare the roster
Let the Scheduler assign positions, then review and change them in the preview. You can also choose positions when assigning volunteers manually. Position names appear with assignments and in volunteer emails, helping people prepare for their part in the service.
Choose how to send each announcement
Also in this release, owners and administrators can choose email, SMS, or both for an individual announcement. This gives each message a suitable delivery channel within the church's notification settings and volunteers' preferences.
To use positions, open Ministries, edit a ministry's position list, and set the position counts on your events. See Ministry Positions for guidance. If you are on Base, upgrade to Premium to enable named positions. Announcement delivery choices are available on both plans.
