Let Next Month's Schedule Come to You

Automatic monthly drafts, publication reminders, and shared volunteer coverage help leaders plan ahead.

Ministry Steward can now prepare next month's roster automatically and let church leaders know when it is ready to review. It gives your team a regular starting point for planning while leaving publication in your hands.

What's New

A private draft, ready ahead of the month

Choose how far ahead the draft should be prepared: 14, 21, 30, 45, or 60 days before the month begins. Ministry Steward uses your saved scheduling choices, then emails owners and administrators with a summary and a link to review. Volunteers see the schedule only after you publish it.

Review at your own pace

Open the draft, adjust assignments, and save your progress until you are ready. You can regenerate it when plans change, or discard it if you no longer need it. Optional publication reminders help owners and administrators follow up when the next month's full schedule has not yet been published.

Let one volunteer cover two suitable ministries

Approved shared volunteer pairings let a qualified person fill two compatible ministry roles at the same event. Choose to use shared coverage only when needed or to prefer it where suitable. Availability and scheduling conflicts still apply, and the automatic Scheduler assigns no more than two roles to one volunteer at that event.

Owners and administrators on Base and Premium can enable automatic drafts in scheduling settings. Configure shared ministry pairings on the relevant events. Assigning named position labels remains a Premium feature. Read the Scheduler guide to choose your timing and review your first automatic draft.
